PopDocs is designed with a privacy-first architecture. We only access your Google Drive metadata to facilitate search and quick navigation. We do not read, store, or transmit the actual content of your documents, slides, or sheets. Our extension operates locally on your browser to ensure that your sensitive information remains within your own ecosystem.
Any data required for the extension's functionality—such as your recently opened file list and search index—is stored exclusively using Chrome's secure local storage API. This data is never uploaded to external servers. We utilize industry-standard encryption methods to protect locally cached metadata, providing an additional layer of security for your browsing habits.
